The Maharashtra State Government has increased the rate of Dearness Allowance by 3% for its employees with effect from 1.1.2022. Immediately reflecting the action followed by the Central Government, the Maharashtra Government has also enhanced the DA rate by 3 percent from the existing rate.
More than 16 lakh employees are benefiting from the announcement of the DA hike! Now the total Dearness Allowance is 31% (28% + 3% = 31%) from 1st January 2022.
Dearness Allowance is a key element of salary for government employees which helps to compensate for the price hike of essential commodities!
