7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 5 in Hand Salary 2025: City-wise Monthly Pay Details

The salary calculation for Central Government personnel at pay level 5 is based on city classification. We have provided four different types of salary calculation tables based on HRA and TA classification. The Basic Pay salary is Rs. 29200.

Pay Level-5 Salary 2025

Depending on the location of their office, it can be difficult to calculate the first month’s compensation of a central government employee. To calculate their monthly salary, you must include the Dearness Allowance, the housing rental allowance, and the transportation allowance. We have categorized the numbers according to these variables. To determine housing rent, the federal government has classified Indian cities and towns as Class X, Class Y, and Class Z.

Level-5 Salary Z Class & Others

Classified ‘Z’ Cities: These are not covered by classification as X or Y cities or towns, which are all classified as Z class. Other Places or Other Cities: All cities and towns other than TPTA Cities (including Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad & Noida). *Minimum HRA of Rs. 5400, Rs. 3600, and Rs. 1800 for Class A, B, and C respectively.
