Consequences of AICPIN July 2019 on DA Calculation

Impact of All India Consumer Price Index for the month of July 2019 on the first calculation of DA and DR

“Dearness allowance for current employees working in Government Services and the Dearness Relief for retired Government employees”.

DA Calculation of Jan 2019

The calculation of Dearness Allowance and Dearness relief due from the period of January to June 2019 for Central Government employees and Pensioners is over!

5% of DA and DR

As per the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission, the calculation of additional Dearness allowance and Dearness relief from Jan to Jun 2019 will be 5%. However, final approval of the Cabinet Committee is more important.

Expected DA from Jan 2020

The next series of Expected DA from January 2020 is now started!
The first-month AICPIN data has been released by the Labour Bureau on 30th August 2019. The index is raised by three points from the current level 316 to 319. [Click to view the Press Release of AICPIN July 2019]
