The Directorate of State Kerala Lotteries conducted the X’Mas New Year Bumper 2020-2021 (BR-77) and 2020-2021 (BR-83) lottery draws on 17.1.2021 and 16.1.2022 at Gorky Bhavan, Near Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala respectively. The first prize for X’Mas Bumper 2020-21 and 2021-22 was fixed as 12 Crore. The next Christmas Bumper lottery scheme for the year 2022-23 is expected to be announced in the month of December 2022!

Place where the draw shall be conducted: Thiruvananthapuram.

The Government appoints a panel of judges and the draws are conducted under the supervision of the panel. The panel selects one among them as Chairman. The draw is conducted by operating the draw machine based on random technology or in the case of contingency, using drums and coins, as the case may be. The draw shall be commenced only after convincing the panel of judges and spectators about the modus operandi of the draw machine. All the spectators shall be convinced that all digits/alphabet representing ticket number and series respectively are stuck on the wheel fixed on the shaft by manually rotating it.

A digital photograph will be taken along with the recording of the draw process using a digital camera or a suitable device. The draw machine will be operated by pressing the switch. The motor will be operated for five seconds for drawing every single prize number/number. The prize-winning ticket is taken, after pressing the switch by the members of the panel of judges or the public. Then the disk engraved/stuck with series and digits rotates and comes to a stand still when a particular number appears on the slots provided.
