The new norms are the admission criteria for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2022-23: In the academic year in which admissions to class I are sought, the child must be 6 years old as of March 31, 2022. (Child born on April 1 should also be considered).

A. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe Category: 15% seats for Scheduled Caste and 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes shall be reserved in all fresh admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.
