Level 5 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
The pay hierarchy table is composed of two elements: the “Horizontal range” representing the pay levels, and the “Vertical range” signifying the pay progression within each level. Specifically, the table shows an annual financial progression of 3% between each level, with some stages indicating higher than 3% and several cells displaying less than 3%. 7th Pay Matrix Level 5 Hand Salary
As of January 2023, employees classified as X Class working in TPTA-classified cities with basic pay of Rs. 29,400 and the Pay Matrix Level is Level 5 (2800 GP) for the employees working in the X Class (HRA 27%) will receive a total monthly salary calculation including a 46% DA. However, the final take-home salary, also known as the hand salary, will be determined after employee contributions towards NPS and CGEGIS are deducted according to their position.
