7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Table for State Government Employees
The 7th Central Pay Commission has created and recommended a new pay fixation table for Central Government employees in its report. The Central Government has also accepted the table and implemented it for its employees and officers. The new pay fixation name is ‘Pay Matrix Table‘.
Following the Central Government, almost all State Governments are implementing the same methodology of pay fixation for their employees. We have compiled a few of them and presented here the Pay Matrix Table implemented by the State Governments for your ready reference.

AP Govt Pay Matrix Table
The Master Scale concept is retained with 32 Grades and 83 stages (increased from 81stages). The Master scale is formulated with the following features: Annual increments range from 3% of the pay in the initial stages to 2.34% at the end.
Assam Govt Pay Matrix Table
The Government of Assam constituted a Committee vide Notification No. FPC.45/2016/2 dated 13-12-2016 to examine the report of the 7th Assam Pay & Productivity Pay Commission and concretize the action points and submit them to the Government. The Committee submitted its report on 27th January 2017. The new pay structure comprising the system of running Pay Bands and Grade Pay shall
