Level 12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
The table outlining pay hierarchy consists of two elements – the “Horizontal range” which indicates pay levels, and the “Vertical range” which outlines the pay progression within each level. The progression involves a three percent annual financial increase between adjacent cells, although some stages may reflect a higher increase while others may show less than three percent. Our intention is to clarify the pay progression for all levels in the table.

7th Pay Matrix Level 12 Hand Salary
As of July 2023, employees classified as X Class working in TPTA-classified cities with basic pay of Rs. 78,800 and the Pay Matrix Level is Level 12 (5400 GP) for the employees working in the X Class (HRA 30%) will receive a total monthly salary calculation including a 60% DA. However, the final take-home salary, also known as the hand salary, will be determined after employee contributions towards NPS and CGEGIS are deducted according to their position.
